Ukraine’s national debt at record high
Ukraine’s national debt has reached 93.5 percent of GDP, press secretary for the country’s PM Vitaly Lukyanenko told journalists today. “This is an unprecedented critical debt level for an economy like ours,” he stressed.  more
No Nabucco-South Stream merger on the horizon
Russia is not weighing the option of merging certain legs of the South Stream and Nabucco pipelines, Russia's Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko told journalists in Moscow today. Shmatko explained that Russia was running a project of its own, which had already gotten all the necessary approvals.  more
